Self-Pour Experts are excited to announce partnership with 14 STX!
Spring is finally here and warmer weather is upon us. Here in Georgia, the Master’s just finished up. Golfers across North America are eager to return to the links. Table Tap just finished an installation at our first country club at the beautiful Loblolly Club in Hobe Sound, Florida. With all this going on, it’s the perfect time to announce that Table Tap will be partnering with 14 STX to help expand Self-Pour into golf and country clubs throughout North America!
What is 14 STX?
14 STX is leading the single-rider golf revolution and changing the way golf courses are navigated. They offer top-of-the-line 2-wheel and 3-wheel single-rider scooters to golf courses, resorts, and personal users all over the United States and Canada. With the adoption of their innovative scooters, courses can differentiate themselves and attract new golfers. Traversing a course via a scooter results in faster rounds and less wear and tear on the course. Because these scooters substantially improve the golfing experience, courses can also generate more revenue per round. Not only are scooters a better way to get around the course, but they are also great for cruising around gated communities. 14 STX sells to both golf courses and personal users!
In addition to scooters, 14 STX helps courses lower their operating costs by being the first company in North America to provide solar powered carts. 14 STX carefully manufactures their solar carts to achieve reliability and sustainability. Recently, 14 STX has begun to add products to their offering beyond course vehicles, such as their digital info board. This digital solution modernizes any golf clubhouse by offering courses and their members a fully interactive way to view and interact with everything that is going on at the course.
The three main features offered are:
Daily Course Updates, General Club Information & Services, Digital Handicap Conversion Table.
Table Tap and 14 STX align as we both offer products that enhance the club experience for both the customer and operator. By implementing products that carry WOW factors, like scooters and self-pour systems, operators show their customers that they are always looking for ways to upgrade and improve. Beyond the WOW factor, self-pour systems offer several benefits to a golf or country club:
Convenience and Expedited Speed of Service
It’s no secret golfers love to drink. The quicker they can get a refill on their beverage, the better. By allowing golfers to be their own bartender, service staff can be used more efficiently in other areas of the club. A system could complement an already existing bar inside the clubhouse or a system can be placed in areas on the property that may be understaffed at times. Maybe golfers would like to top off their beers in a halfway house at the turn, or maybe they’d like to celebrate a round with a beer inside the locker room.
All users need to access the system is an RFID card. There are several different ways to bill users for their pours. They can upload a balance onto their card. This balance can carry over from day-to-day and they can add more money to their card as they wish. If they have a credit card on file with the club, our system can track their consumption over a period of time and then the club can add their total expenditure to their tab.
For country clubs, the system can be implemented as an added amenity. A daily consumption limit is associated with each RFID card. Members may treat themselves to 1-2 free drinks per day and then be cut off once they reach their daily limit. To offset the operational expenses of the amenity, the club may charge an enrollment fee or increase monthly membership dues.
Increase your bottom line
There are labor shortages across North America, especially in the hospitality sector. A self-pour system allows food and beverage programs to operate on a lean staff and at lower labor costs. A club can expect to increase beer revenue by 40% through a self-pour system. There is also the ability to charge more by the ounce for higher profit margin products, such as craft beer, kegged wine, and craft cocktails.
While Table Tap systems can dispense any beverage that comes in a keg, we also integrate with Enomatic bottled wine dispensers. Enomatic machines are already very popular amongst high-end country clubs. If your club is already serving wine via Enomatic, a Table Tap system would be a seamless way to add self-pour beer to the mix!
Another huge pain point for club operators is keg wastage. Whether it’s because of spillage, pilferage, or over pouring, 20-25% of every keg is wasted. Every ounce that flows through a Table Tap system is accounted for and paid for. Each of our systems comes with back-end management software that includes inventory tracking and detailed consumption reports.
Golf Simulator Lounges
Table Tap has also seen an increased demand for self-pour from golf simulator lounges. These types of venues are popping up everywhere, especially in Northern markets where golf courses are only playable half the year. Whether golfers are smashing balls inside or outside, they need access to beer at their fingertips! Table Tap recently installed a 20-tap system at Gimmies Bar & Lounge in Fargo, ND. Gimmies has five TruGolf Simulators with 4 Table Taps conveniently located at each bay. As a golfer, you can hit a drive 300 yards at Pebble Beach and then pour yourself a pint all in 30 seconds.
